WOW! We had a spectacular time. We were cruising the coral when our captain got a call about dolphins in the area. He immediately took us out to them and we were surrounded! The spinner dolphins put on quite a show for us! Our guide told us all about the dolphins, fish, coral, and turtles. She was very informative. The boat had easy access from the beach and plenty of seats so everyone could see clearly through the viewing area. It was a great trip!

We went on the glass bottom boat tour on Monday. We went around the area by Waikoloa Marriott. This was a really awsome tour! The captain and crew were really helpful and pointed out things we would have missed. They were really informative and gave us a lot of information on the fish and everything we were looking at. This is a family friendly and budget friendly activity. Highly recommend it!!

Took a ride on the glass bottom boat with captain Sam and Claire this afternoon. They are super nice, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. We saw lots of turtles and coral. For the time of year and conditions, it wasn’t as clear as they said it usually was but still had great views of sea life. Great information along the way. I highly recommend them. You can find them on the big island of Hawaii.

Not that good of beach, really coarse sand that was rough on the feet. Not ideal for swimming, about 30 feet out into the water there is a rock wall built under water that is really rough and it is hard to get past out beyond it. This beach is only good for families with kids and the cats that live here are kind of neat. But for some real ocean beach action go up the road to Hapuna Beach and there you will catch some good waves for boogie boarding and body surfing.

Cute beach. There is a group of cats that live here, volunteers come by to feed and water them every day. Most of the kitties are friendly and will let you pet them. There are mongooses too. Beach was nice, peaceful, and the restaurant nearby, we didn't eat at but smelled really good. We did eat at one of the places in the nearby shopping center near the entrance to the beach.

Fantastic beach! The bay and beach here is fabulous. Plenty of sand and gorgeous views. You can walk up the beach to find quiet areas with no one else and spend the day in pure Bliss. Rocks along the shore and out in the open water make the views even better. Definitely recommend if you are in Kona. 5 stars!!

Warm water and sand that wasn't too Rocky. Really pretty sunset as well! Unfortunately it wasn't clear enough to snorkel in a good portion of the water. Shoes might also be a good idea, as what we did see down there was a good number of urchins and sharper rocks near the coral.

Very well maintained public beach. Nice entrance, no trash, easy parking, nice beach with some shade and lots of sun. We fished off the shore and easily caught dinner with some artificial bait in the surf. Restrooms and shower on site. Couple min drive from nearby resorts. Our favorite beach in the immediate area.
