Our family of 4 took our day trip with Trilogy III. We added the Snuba option. With the Snuba option you can descend down up to 20 feet. My 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter thought this was the best thing they did in Maui. The boat and crew are wonderful. The Snuba guide Dave was patient and skillful at getting the entire family comfortable with the equipment. Then he guided us along underwater to eels, numerous fish, and many sea turtles! We enjoyed this so much and highly recommend it to anyone considering. Safe adventurous fun for the whole family.
I had never snorkeled before and was a bit apprehensive about my abilities. I need not have worried. The crew was excellent and helped anyone who needed it. This trip boards behind the Kaanapali Beach Resort. It is a beach loading which means you walk through the surf to get on the boat. Very easy to do. The day started with cinnamon rolls, juice, and coffee. We then went to Honolua Bay. Saw sea turtles, an eel, and so many beautiful fish. When we came in from this location fresh grilled chicken along with delicious sides were waiting for us. This was served on real plates with real silverware. Great way to have a "picnic." After lunch we sailed to another location that had great reefs to explore. Dessert was served on the way back to our boarding location along with some adult libations. Everyone said we needed to snorkel Molokini. We went with Trilogy Kaanapali because they boarded within walking distance of our hotel. I highly recommend this activity.
After hours upon hours of comparing and contrasting snorkel cruises, we decided on the Trilogy Discover Kaanapali tour. Our expectations were greatly succeeded. The crew was great and made you feel relaxed from the start. The food was amazing. They think of everything and really treat you like you’re at a 5-Star restaurant. I really recommend paying for the SNUBA experience. SNUBA Dave was amazing, funny and helped us feel relaxed. I wouldn’t consider myself athletic, but he made it so easy and effortless. I also really recommend buying the professional pictures. We have some amazingly unique pictures that we will treasure for ever. Without a doubt, we will be back!! Oh yeah, I was worried about sea sickness, but it didn’t happen (plus they provided different OTC meds if needed) and they have great restrooms so you’re not stranded at as without them (weird things I always think about). If you’re considering this cruise. DO IT! DON’T HESITATE!

Hands down, the best boat tour we've taken in a long time. We typically choose a smaller outfit to avoid a large crowd, but thought we would try this...
