Cross the channel to the island of Lanai and dive into the deep!

The most popular scuba trip in all of Hawaii! This two-tank, two-dive charter crosses the channel to the island of Lana'i and explores the coastline famous for its Cathedral Dives, swim-throughs, archways, and lava structures. We dive both First and Second Cathedral on a regular basis and many divers agree that Lanai diving has the greatest diversity and marine life density, to rival all other diving locations in Hawaii.

Beautiful, diverse coral reef and unique lava tubes are some of the amazing things you will experience on this dive. We have over 40 dive sites to choose from depending on the prevailing conditions. All dives are guided tours with experienced dive masters.

This Tour Features:
  • Continental breakfast in between dives, along with fruit juice and bottled water
  • All our dive gear is comfortable, top of the line, quality, newer gear (AquaLung and Mares BCs, Oceanic Regulators equipped with depth/pressure console and an octopus) or you may bring your own. Our wetsuits are 5mm step-in long sleeve shorties. We also provide neoprene hoods for cold divers.
  • Dive computers are standard and included in our rental gear set, allowing maximum bottom times. Please note, towels are not provided. Nitrox is available upon request.

The 1st Cathedral was amazing and we saw many of the species we were hoping to see on this dive. The staff is amazing and puts safety and the environment at the top of all they do. I greatly appreciated the dives and the company's focus!

This is the most organized dive trip ever: Dive Lanai has thought of everything from sunglasses/glasses holders and towel holders to marking an individual diver's gear with a sea animal, to noting all our dive info on a white board to photograph and add to our dive logs later. I have never been better taken care of on a dive boat. Captain Aarika made sure we were safe on board and dive guides Lauren and Chris made sure we stayed safe in the water. The three of them were fabulous with great attitudes; always positive and polite. After each dive, they helped identify--with photograph-filled notebooks!--all of the sea life we saw during the dive. Dive spots were enjoyable and included the famous "First Cathedral." Two thumbs up!

The staff are very professional and knowledgeable about the region and it made for a great experience. You can tell they are all very passionate about diving and a shout out to the instructor Johnny who was a great teacher and made the advanced certification course seamless and enjoyable. AMAZING!! Dive Lanai Scuba IS the only place for any level Scuba Diver to Dive with while on Maui! D.M. Victoria gave incredible detailed yet relaxed dive briefings that outlined what became our incredible dives! She explained what your were seeing underwater with a magnetic "White Board" so you knew exactly what you were looking at during the dive. Victoria has a keen knowledge of the areas we dove and took us to see an array of awesome underwater sea life. Capt. Raquel was also incredible, she also gave a detailed safety briefing in a relaxed and informative session before getting under way. She provided us with a breakfast snack between dives that really enhanced the experience. Raquel kept your personal water bottle full and made sure that all your needs were taken care of promptly. Don't waste your time with other dive shops that will rush you and treat you like a burden, Dive Lanai Scuba is your only stop for your diving needs! They also make available Nitrox and 100 cu. Ft. tanks (at a small additional cost) for us "Heavy Breathers" to ensure you get all the bottom time you are paying for unlike some other shops. If you want to feel well taken care of and not a burden you must experience the FIVE STAR service of Dive Lanai Scuba!

Went on a dive today at Airport beach with Shelby. Best experience of my trip to Maui so far! I had never been scuba diving before today and was a little nervous, but Shelby was an excellent instructor. After a few minutes of instruction at the office and in the water I felt very comfortable in the water. I saw more wildlife than I thought I would see.

The guys at Dive Lanai are legends. They know their stuff and are great scuba divers. The gear they use is good quality and there were no issues. The dive guides did a great job in identifying and finding animals of interest to the group. An added bonus is that the boat is run off of biodiesel so it is good for the environment and doesn't stink like normal boats. Their operation is also solar powered making diving better for the environment

The best dive shop in Maui. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. My wife is fresh of her Open Water and I am a relatively experienced diver - they satisfied both of our needs. Very knowledgeable about local marine life. Approach is individualized for each diver. Must do cathedral dive!!!
