My husband and I had a WONDERFUL time on our "Road to Hana" tour, thanks to the warmth, friendliness, and knowledge of Makana, who picked us up from the front of our condo complex, and Keoni, who was our tour guide for the day. From start to finish, the day was about 11 - 12 hours -- but well worth it. Makana was a few minutes early to pick us up, and he went beyond the call of duty to get our day off to a great start while we waited for the tour vehicle to arrive. Keoni... what can we say? He is a great guy... so full of life, so genuine, and so knowledgeable about the island as a native of Maui. It's obvious that he enjoys his work. Keoni invited everyone to introduce themselves at the start of the tour, with him commenting that we would be family for the day... and we were! Keoni kept us in stitches most of the day. What impressed us the most is how humble Keoni is, even in spite of his royal blood line. We could not have asked for a better tour guide, better weather, or a better day! This was our first visit to Maui and certainly won't be our last. Among some of the highlights of our day (and we know we are missing something): 1. Tour size is limited to 8 people in a comfy Mercedes-Benz van. 2. Numerous stops at beaches & waterfalls 3. Touring the island in a full-circle instead of driving halfway and turning around 4. Learning about plants that are native to the island and enjoying the foliage 5. Banana bread (still warm and delicious!) 6. Yummy treats -- including the largest strawberries we've ever seen (we don't get those on the mainland), super sweet pineapple, and delicious breads/cakes (strawberry/mango, coconut, pineapple, etc.) 7. Maui Winery The Road to Hana contains over 600 curves, so do NOT try this journey on your own in an attempt to save money. The person who drives will not get to enjoy the ride. Hiring Hana Full Circle was money well spent. Mahalo to the tour company for a GREAT tour!

Last week we spend a 12 hour tour with Nathan on the Road to Hana. He lived in Hana so his knowledge and experience was conveyed to all of us. He was truly a pleasure to be with. The sights on the tour are truly amazing and it was hard to believe that we did spend 12 hours on the tour-but so well worth it. Nathan explained and showed to us how the dry conditions in Hana have contributed to the minimum amount of waterfalls. We had a lovely lunch- do the ribs! Besides the sunrise tour- please be sure to take this tour with Hana Full Circle and hopefully Nathan will be your guide.

We took the Road to Hana trip with Devyn and were totally impressed in every way! We would never attempt to make this trip on our own given the treacherous back roads. This allowed us to see the full scope of the beautiful island of Maui and its diverse terrain through Hana and to do a full loop around the south side of the island. It was a long day but worth every minute of it. Devyn was totally knowledgeable about Hawaiian history, culture and language. We learned so much that we could never learn on our own. He obviously has a love for his home island of Maui and patiently described every detail about key sights. The trip itself with various stops was very well organized and professionally done and made it that much more pleasant and interesting! We are so glad that we took this trip through Hana Full Circle and especially with Devyn as our tour guide! God bless you all and thank you! -The Capone family
