Due to airline tickets restrictions, all tours which include airfare are non-refundable once the reservation is purchased. Airline tickets are non-changeable and non-transferable, meaning passengers cannot be switched and dates cannot be changed once the tour has been booked. Cancelled tours will result in a full-charge.
Please be aware that these bookings are subject to confirmation. If this is a same-day or next-day booking, there is a reasonable chance this will not be confirmed. For bookings that are confirmed, there will be no cancellations or refunds.
Because this tour involves inter-island flights, we are required by Federal law to provide the Transportation Security Administration the full names, date of birth and gender of all passengers. U.S. citizens must present a current government issued pictured ID and international visitors are required to have a valid passport. Regrettably, we are unable to refund any portion of the tour due to non-compliance of these federal regulations. What do I need to bring on my Pearl Harbor tour? Because of security reasons you are not allowed to bring any fanny packs, backpacks, purses or anything that provides concealment.You can bring your cameras and camcorders without their cases. If you are doing a Pearl Harbor with an Island tour combo you may bring your purses and leave them with your tour guides. We ask that you take all your cash and credit cards with you. Your personal items will be locked in the vehicle.
Do I get to board the Memorial? Yes, we provide the official Navy tour and you board the Navy shuttle-boat to the Arizona Memorial.
Can I bring flowers to Pearl Harbor / Arizona Memorial? Yes, you can bring flowers to honor our heroes. If you plan to use your lei?s flowers please break the thread so the marine life is not hurt.
What type of vehicles do you use? We use Luxury Deluxe Mini-Coaches equipped with air-conditioning, reclining seats and extra large sightseeing windows. Each bus seats 12-25 passengers.
Do you stop for snacks, lunch, bathrooms? Yes, all of our tours stop for snacks on the short tours and lunch on the full day tours. You will have time to feed your baby.We have scheduled bathroom stops along the routes. Should you require additional stops, please let your tour guide know at the beginning of the tour and we will be more than happy to accommodate your request.
Is there a lot of walking? No, we make a lot of stops for picture taking and to give you the opportunity to experience Hawaii. All of the stops on our Island tours & Pearl Harbor tours are just a few yards from the mini-buses and therefore you do not need to walk far. If you prefer to stay on the bus, you can take pictures from your seat.
What type of safety procedures do you follow? You can feel safe in the knowledge that you?ll be traveling with a reliable and stable company that is in compliance with all Public Utilities Commission as well as State and Federal permits and requirements. Our two full-time, certified mechanics, follow a detailed pre-maintenance program recommended by the vehicle manufacturer to ensure our safety and limit vehicle malfunctions. We also carry a $5 million auto, as well as general liability insurances. We replace our vehicles every 3 years. Although this rarely happens, if your vehicle breaks down during the tour, we have systems in place to send one of our stand-by vehicles to the scene immediately so none of your precious time is wasted.
I have a medical condition, is it safe to go on tours? For your safety, please check with your doctor and find out if there are any limitations to your touring. Some sites have more medical concerns than others, such as the Volcano on the Big Island, so as a precaution, ask your doctor about any restrictions you may have and we need to be aware of.
Can your vehicles accommodate wheelchairs? At this time, our vehicles can accommodate collapsible wheelchairs only.We ask that you let us know at the time of booking your tour that you will be traveling with a collapsible wheelchair. We will then be able to make sure you are fully accommodated. NOTE: Although we are able to accommodate collapsible wheelchairs, our vehicles are NOT equipped with wheelchair lifts.
We booked the Pearl Harbor and Circle Island Tour flying into Oahu from Maui for the day. What a great experience!! It was a long day having to be at the airport at 5 Am but well worth it. Our tour guide Keith made the experience so much fun. He was so informative and had so much to offer on a personal level. His stories were interesting and there was never a dull moment. He gave a brief history of Pearl Harbor before we arrived. Wish we could have a little more time there to do some shopping without rushing. The rest of the day was well planned with the most beautiful beaches and overlooks. So much better than I expected. Keith put so much into it. Complete Pearl Harbor Experience is very lucky to have him as one of their tour operators. I went on other local Maui tours which were boring and robotic. Well worth it!!!!!
Did the Pearl Harbor Experience Tour (2M) from Maui and it was everything we wanted. Our guide, Cousin Shannon, was great, friendly and knew it all. Air travel to and from Oahu was seamless, as was the rest of the experience. A very well-run machine beginning to end. Since it was our only experience of our trip in Oahu, we enjoyed the opportunity to have 1-2 hours of free time in Honolulu at the end of the tour.
My husband and I were on honeymoon in Maui and decided to do this tour. We were not disappointed. Junior is the star of the tour. His knowledge of the area and sense of humour really made the day. I personally had a bad day. I fell, was ill, had a migraine, but I still enjoyed it as a whole. The landscape is breathtaking. You will want to stop constantly to take pictures. Tip: Use plenty of insect repellent. my husband was bitten badly. Bonus: Junior thought us a lot of historical facts about Maui and Hawaii in general plus Hawaiian folklore that we would otherwise not of known.
Better than expected! We started our with Keith who picked us up from our hotel and brought us the our first stop at Pearl Harbor. He was knowledgeable about the island and told stories about Pearl Harbor before we arrived. After this we went with a new driver because we were doing a different tour than others that were with us. We then were with Hana, he made our experience above and beyond. He talked about each stop and gave us history about the island and taught us several words/phrases. Our tour was - Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation and the Polynesian cultural center. We also stopped at a beach in North Shore and a Temple along the way. Highly Recommended.
We had a wonderful experience with Doscover Hawaii Tours! We did the Road to Hana. Our tour guide Stan was very friendly, entertaining and informative. The day was perfectly planned out. It was so nice to sit back, relax and enjoy the road to Hana without having to stress about driving it and knowing where to stop, and Stan was able to point out things we never would have known on our own. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. We highly recommend it!
On my recent trip to Hawaii I went online to book the Road to Hana tour. The website showed a tour available on the date I wanted and let me proceed to book. When I never received a confirmation email I called them and the tour was oversold. I asked if there was availability on another day we could go and they said that one was oversold too. They charged my card and said they would mail me a refund check. A week later I call and no check had been mailed and I was told my credit card can be refunded. I am told by the customer service rep that the refund has been processed but I still have no refund showing on my credit card account. I am guessing I will need to dispute this through my credit card company to get my money back. We ended up going to a tour through Roberts Hawaii and it was excellent.
I tried booking one of the Eco tours for me and my wife on the phone using a coupon from the Entertainment book but was told it was not valid, even though it was dated to expire 12/31. On Tuesday, I booked an Eco tour for us online for Thursday. I was emailed Wednesday afternoon notifying me that the tour I wanted was booked and to call them. When I called, they asked when I was going to leave (Saturday) and told me that they were upgrading one of the tours on Friday to the tour I wanted, for which 4 seats remained. I made sure that they were going to the locations we wanted, since we had been to many of the locations on another circle island tour last year. I accepted two of the seats. On Friday, we were to be picked up at 8:25am. At 8:30 I called just to ensure the tour was going as planned and that we were still doing the Eco tour we had selected (Ultimate Circle Island Eco Adventure). They assured me the shuttle was on its way and that we were doing the tour we selected. We were picked up at our hotel late and then taken to where we met up with our tour operator. After we got on the tour shuttle, the driver asked what we wanted for lunch, which we had previously selected online. The lunch selections were not the same as what was offered online, so we knew something was amiss. None of the others on the tour had swimming suits because they said they were called the night before and told the Eco tour was not going to go. We then asked the driver about the tour and found out that he was doing his originally planned tour, which did not include the unique locations we wanted to see. He further said that our tour had already been discounted to reflect the new price. I called the Discover Hawaii Adventures phone number and relayed what was occurring. Even though the driver was unaware of any changes, they told me that the driver was going to do the modified tour. Obviously, there was a communication issue... While waiting on the phone, the tour took off, leaving my wife and I on the other side of Waikiki from our hotel. Discover Hawaii had no interest in getting my wife and I back to our hotel; however, they did decide to refund our tour, which will take up to a couple weeks. Needless to say, we will never book anything through Complete Pearl Harbor Experience in the future.
normally, when I go on vacation anywhere I always go on on my own and never plan much. When I visited Hawaii in 2014 for my son's re-enlistment I booked a Discover Hawaii tour on a whim and am so glad I did. Learned a ton and am so glad I was able to just sit back and enjoy rather than looking at maps all the time and trying to figure out traffic and parking! Anyone that goes to Hawaii should book a tour with you guys----it is MOST worthwhile!
