Say Aloha to your captain and crew as you step easily onto the boat and find the perfect seat. The stars come out as the Kahalawai Mountains of West Maui slowly glide by. There is plenty of time to gaze at the islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokai in the distance, and during whale season, there is an enormous chance you'll see and hear humpback whales! A prime rib dinner and great drinks complement the evening.

Just returned from the Lanai snorkel tour. It was fantastic!!!! Our crew was very helpful and patient with me, helping me with my mask, (I’m claustrophobic) and the wet suit. I especially appreciated that they had lifeguards in the water with us, in case of any emergency. The time allotted for snorkeling was just right. A good Breakfast was ready as soon as we got on board and lunch was just as good. The crew was knowledgeable and did a great job keeping us informed as to what to expect as the day unfolded. Our captain went out of his way to allow us the time to whale watch and it was spectacular! What a beautiful day on the ocean. Clean boat, great captain and crew, good food. Great job, Sunset Dinner Cruise!!!
Lanai Snorkeling...saw whales, dolphins, turtles, fish, great food, great music, friendly crew. Captain is very entertaining. Stopped for whales. Stopped for dolphins. Awesome trip!
This is the 1st time I have reviewed anything. I felt compelled to write a review based on the bad review I read about this Boat and crew. We did the Lanai snorkel cruise. This is an amazing crew! I have been to Maui a few times and always taken a cruise when here. This is the first time I booked a "larger" boat, and was worried it would be a over packed boat and spoil my day. It did not! This crew is "AMAZING"! Very professional and personal. We were out on the unfortunate day when the accidental alert was sent calling all boats back to harbor. This crew remained calm and in touch with the guests and kept our day from being ruined. We saw more whales, dolphins and sea life than I have ever seen before and the cruise was not rushed due to the morning being interrupted. I would recommend this boat and her crew with confidence. Their food was good and plentiful and the drinks were a bargain. My tip doubled my tab and to be honest should have been more. These people are fantastic and really want you to have a memorable trip with them. Thanks again.
To be honest, the snorkeling tour was mediocre. First the pros: 1. We saw pod of dolphins swimming. 2. Reasonable breakfast and lunch. 3. Chopppy, but ok ride to and from. They give medicines for the potential seasick candidates. Now the disappointing factors: 1. The snorkeling location (off of lighthouse in Lanai) is mediocre at the best. Not much to see a few fishes of the same type here and there. No big schools of fish that I am used to see while snorkeling in Mexico. I honestly saw better variety off of Kapalua beach (including eels and a turtle) on our own. 2. The crew was overly aggressive in the use of floatation devices. In my past snorkeling trips, I've had only one floatation device under the belly. Here they made me put a life vest + one pool noodle under arms and one pool noodle to hold with both hands. I am 160 pounds... That arrangement could float a whale! And my hands were not free to take video/picture. 3. They made my wife so scared about safety (she's a swimmer, just not a strong one) that she chickened out taking our 3 year old for snorkeling even with both of them wearing life vest. The vest + 2 pool noodles + a floatation device for kid + the child itself is too much to handle. In addition they insisted on our 10 year old (who is a strong swimmer) to take care of the little one, since we were 'not strong swimmers'. Net net, my wife and little one missed the snorkeling. 4. Snorkeling time was advertised to be 90minutes, but we got only an hour. Not a big deal since there was nothing much to see anyway. 5. They also tell the non swimmers to stay near the boat, from where you can't see anything. Not sure why they insist that since they were wearing vests + noodles too. Overall I've had much better snorkeling experiences than this. If you are still keen, check where they are going to take you. The lighthouse place was a disappointment.
Where do I start? The crew was so friendly and helpful, it was my daughters first time on a large boat (she is ten), and her first time out in open waters, and they helped her and made her feel so comfortable, they really went above and beyond! Captain Kiwi was wonderful and informative/funny. The food was decent, but I wasn't there to eat, I was there for the experience, and they made it top notch! Highly recommend this excursion! Thanks again to the entire crew for helping my daughter and I build a great memory.
