Why We Love It -  Ideal for those limited on time or budget who want to do both a snorkel and a whale watch!

Awesome deal on a whale watch and snorkel combo!

From December 15th through April 15th, the Express Whale Watch/ Molokini Snorkel is a great way to combine snorkeling at Molokini with a whale watching adventure on a fast and maneuverable, rigid-hulled, inflatable.

Your passage to and from Molokini will take you through waters laden with Humpback whales with a high percentage of mother/calf/escort pods. Molokini is a partially-submerged, crescent-shaped volcanic crater. It is located between Kaho'olawe and Maui. You will snorkel the outer and inner reef of Molokini depending on the weather conditions (see important note below). You will find tropical fish almost everywhere. Awesome visibility, shafts of radiant light, steep drop-offs and towering cliffs make this snorkeling destination extremely unique.

You will be briefed and equipped with our top-of-the-line snorkeling gear.

The Ride
Blue Water Rafting has been offering a variety of high adventure snorkeling and sightseeing tours since early 1985. Due to the range of sea conditions encountered and the lively nature of the ride, these tours are not recommended for people with limiting physical conditions. Mike and Stephanie were an awesome crew. We had perfect weather and snorkeling conditions. We were lucky enough to swim with a monk seal and see a school of dolphins on the way out. 5 stars for Blue Water Maui!!

This was an excellent tour to see the crater and swim with its wildlife. Captain Toby and Stephanie were great hosts and made first time snorkelers seem like professionals with clear and quick instructions. On our way back into harbor Captain Toby found a group of whales no further than 50 yards from the boat. Riding the tubes on the side walls was easy and fun but would not recommend for calm ride seekers. Overall awesome experience and very friendly and safety focused crew of Captain Toby and Stephanie!

Captain Mike and First Mate Johnny made this adventure an incredible experience! Wet, wild, beautiful yet felt totally safe. Whales, dolphins, turtles, lava flows, history...a great trip I hope to revisit!

Wonderful adventure. BE WARNED! Sitting on the side of the raft up front will result in you getting bounced around and beat up a bit. It was fun for about the first ten minutes but then you get really tired and over it. You won’t have a chance to move until the boat stops. So choose your seating wisely! Other than that it was awesome! We saw no less than 10 whales and the snorkeling was great! Both the captain and the other guide were very helpful and very conscious about safety. Would definitely reccomend to anybody looking for a more adventurous tour.
